Fruity Jigsaw

Hello everyone!!
Following Allyson's suggestion, I scribbled a 'poem' about a fruit - my favourite fruit. It's here and on Coffee Philosophies' blog. :)

Try to guess what fruit it is!

The Scottish woods crafted you beyond the secrets of spring

Tiny crimson pearl, earrings of the bushes
Bittersweet jewels growing out of the May’s dew
Pulpy enchanted berry bleeding acid sugar in my tongue
As my teeth get rosier with the intense juice
Dancing in my wide cerise smile
My lips lit with tiny droplets, tiny surprises that shine
A treasure of the woods, merry to find!

Lots of sunshine! :D

It sounds like a pomegranate in terms of juice and staining - but certainly not in Scotland.
It's a berry of some sort... bushes in May, but that is when the plant is blossoming, not producing the fruit. Acid juice could make it a whinberry or billberry?

You're close! Sorry about the possible mistakes according to the origin and production of the fruit - it's rare in the countries near the Meridian Sea. Focus on the colours I name. It's a bittersweet berry, yes.

Thank you, Allyson.
Best wishes!
